Edit the W-2 again anyhow.
333 x 12 = 3996 (or thereabouts if not always exactly 333)
double-hitting a key, or fudging the 9&0 together (30996) , or misplacing the decimal point can mess that up.
If it was a 401k on the W-2, check box 12 numbers.
AND if the $$ were entered in box 12 of the W-2, DO NOT enter those again as IRA contributions on the Deductions&Credits page. 401k contributions are not IRA contributions.
