Does anyone know where in tubrotax we can claim our previous year's federal return as income. Iowa makes us do this, but I can't find anywhere on turbotax to do this.

Are the instructions below still applicable for filing 2018 returns?

I’ve printed the returns and don’t see the options below.

You can use these steps to get to that section of the Iowa state return.
Log into your account and click Take me to my return
Click State to the left and Continue
Click Edit next to Iowa on Status of your state returns screen
Continue through until you are on the You’ve Finished Your Iowa Return screen
Then click Update next to Adjustments there
This should take you to screen titled State Adjustments to Federal Income and you continue through answering questions until you see the Enter Your Federal Tax Info screen
The first box should beFederal Income Tax Refund received in 2017 for tax years from 2016 or prior years and you'll enter information there
If you received a federal income tax refund, you must report the amount on line 27 of the IA 1040. It must be reported even if you used the standard deduction on the prior year's Iowa return. The federal refund must be included on this line because you benefited from being able to deduct federal taxes on the prior year's Iowa return, which reduced your Iowa taxable income for that year. The amount reported on line 27 of the IA 1040 should not exceed the total amount of any federal tax deduction taken on the prior year(s) Iowa return."
This is still a problem in TurboTax. Line 27 of Iowa 1040 is still blank even though I have entered this information in the program. TurboTax asks for this information, but it does not fill it out on the state return form.
