Which state do you live in?

Yes, you would want to attach any forms to your return that show income tax withheld; however, if your 1099’s doesn’t show any income tax withheld, you don’t need to attach them. Make sure your sign your return because it will not be valid unless your signature is on it. The IRS states, “For supporting statements, arrange them in the same order as the schedules or forms they support and attach them last. Attach a copy of Forms W-2, W-2G and 2439 to the front of Form 1040.”

Here’s a link to the IRS website with more information about How to prepare your Federal return for mailing: https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-news/at-01-30.pdf
