Do I need to send a 1099 to the company that does my manufacturing?

I contract a company to do some of my sewing for me.  In the past I have contracted individuals and I have always issued a 1099.  Do I do the same when I am contracting an LLC?  Thank you!

Yes, you do need to send a 1099 to the company if you made payments of $600 or more as part of your business/trade.

Otherwise, you are not required.
