Do I need to file a form SSA-1099 if married filing jointly. I was employed for all of 2023. My spouse was fully retired and S.S. was her only income

Yes, you must enter the form. The IRS got a copy so they may notice that it was missing.

 

Because you two have dual income, her SS may be taxed, and you won't know unless you enter it.
