Do I have to pay into NY , I am retired and only have SS and pension income? In previous years I had to file but never had to pay in

We cannot see your income information.  NY does not tax Social Security but does tax some kinds of retirement income.

Generally, you must file a New York State income tax return if you are a New York State resident and are required to file a federal return.
