Do I have to file Social Security Benefits that children receive as a form of child support?

Two children receive monthly installments from a previous marriage, from a disability claim, I believe. We have received a Form SSA1099, do we have to file it?

No, you do not have to file their SS benefits on your tax return.

If that is their only income, they do not file it either.
