Do I have to file for COVID19 stimulus if I receive Social Security and I already filed a joint return?

If you filed a joint return in 2019 (or 2018 if no 2019 return was filed), you are all set.  The IRS is using information from the 2019 return (or 2018).

Thank you. I appreciate your reply because I'm on SS but filed as part of my spouse's joint return so wasn't sure if I had to file that separate return to get the stimulus money.

Thank you again.
