Do I have to claim a SSA-1099 form on my child. If so how??? I don't see where they asked that question.

You do not enter your child's SSA-1099 on your tax return.

If the social security benefits on SSA-1099 is your child's only income, he/she is not required to file a tax return.

This has been a few years since this was posted, is it still accurate?

Yes, the information is still accurate. If the social security benefits on SSA-1099 is your child's only income, he/she is not required to file a tax return.
