Did I make a Roth contribution for 2024? (I did backdoor conversion from traditional IRA to Roth IRA. Should I answer Yes or No?)

the reason for the backdoor move is you were not allowed to make a contribution.

No a conversion or rollover is not a new contribution.  Only enter the 1099R.  Do not enter it under Deductions.

Answer No.  A backdoor Roth involves a traditional IRA contribution, not a Roth IRA contribution.
