Cant e-file my taxes because of disaster distribution form that was released feb 26th

Frustrated so sorry for the rant.  Turbo tax currently is not only getting more expensive to use but its incredibly bad at providing their customers with updates.  The government(which is terribly slow) are able to provide as stimulus check faster then turbo tax can update their forms.

Currently I am getting a NY filing error stating they are working on the forms.  How much longer do I have to wait?  Do we think turbo tax is going to release the forms sometime this year or do I have to just go to another tax software that is more efficient.

TurboTax is working hard to incorporate this new form into all the states in TurboTax. To ensure that your return is accurate, check back after March 19 to file your return.

Please see Can I file my federal taxes now and skip my state for later? for additional information.

Please be aware that you have 3 years to pay back the COVID distribution to get a refund on any taxes paid. From the IRS:

"If you repay a coronavirus-related distribution, the distribution will be treated as though it were repaid in a direct trustee-to-trustee transfer so that you do not owe federal income tax on the distribution.

If, for example, you receive a coronavirus-related distribution in 2020, you choose to include the distribution amount in income over a 3-year period (2020, 2021, and 2022), and you choose to repay the full amount to an eligible retirement plan in 2022, you may file amended federal income tax returns for 2020 and 2021 to claim a refund of the tax attributable to the amount of the distribution that you included in income for those years, and you will not be required to include any amount in income in 2022."
