can you tell me if my social security should be taxed

To clarify, did you enter your SSA-1099 into TurboTax? 

Did you look at your 1040 line 6a to see if the Social Security was reported and line 6b for the taxable amount of Social Security? 

If you failed to enter your SS benefits on your tax return, IRS will catch that immediately.
