Can I still get a credit for retirement savings contribution if I rolled over my 401k during 2016. Do I put zero for distributions in the worksheet?

Yes, you can still get a Saver's Credit if you did a rollover. A rollover is not a distribution, so doesn't negatively impact your ability to get this credit. See Form 8880 instructions for line 4.

Are you using the Turbo Tax Step By Step to prepare your return? If you have income that supports the credit, made a contribution to a qualifying plan, and didn't take a distribution, the credit will be calculated by the program.
