I keep getting the comment in the review section that Turbo is still working on updates related to retirement distributions that qualify for Covid relief and it keeps showing me an amount on my 1099. It also says that I can keep working on my return and they'll remove this message when it's ready....
If the message is referring to the Federal Filling and for form 8915-E this form has been updated and is available for filing.
If you have not updated your TurboTax product do that first to get the most up to date forms.
Then go back and revisit your 1099-R entries. In that interview you will be ask qualifying questions regarding Covid-19 or a Qualified Disaster Distribution. Follow the prompts and hopefully this will complete your return.

Thanks....but I use the online version so I can't update it..... I was thinking of maybe deleting the withdrawals and reentering them?
Yes, you will need to delete and re-enter in this case as the system is not recognizing that the information is there. Delete it out, save your return, shut down out of the program completely, then even shut down your computer and do a full reboot. Just to play it safe. Then go back in and re-enter the information and it should then pick up and flow through properly.
