You can enter your form 1099-B by following these steps:

  1. In TurboTax, open your tax return
  2. Click on Federal in the left-hand column, then on Wages & Income on top of the screen
  3. Scroll down to locate the section Investment Income and click on Show more
  4. Click Start next to Stocks, Cryptocurrency, Mutual Funds, Bonds, Other
  5. When entering your form 1099-B, on the entry screen, check the box  I have more info to enter that I don’t see here and more boxes will appear so you can enter the taxes withheld.

When you enter all data for bov1a, etc. click continue and the next screen lets you enter box 4 data.

I do not see a similar option in 2024 TurboTax.  Is this no longer available?

Yes, when you are on the screen to enter your investment sale, there will be a box on the same page that you have to check labeled I have other boxes on my 1099-B to enter
