Can I enter a 1099-G for a taxable grant ?

A taxable grant is reported under Other Income in the Income and Expenses section of your Federal return.

1. Scroll down to Other Common Income
2.  Select Other 1099-G Income
3. Select start next to Other 1099-G Income
4. Continue through the interview screens to enter your 1099-G.

I followed these steps to enter my 1099-G although only box 1 and box 4 are fillable options; Box 6 is what needs to be entered and that box is not on the Turbo Tax form. How do I enter box 6 for taxable grants from a 1099-G form in Turbo Tax? Thanks

You need to enter it from the Other 1099-G screen.   That screen will allow a box 6 entry, @at269
