Can I create a substitute 1099-r?

My pension plan changed the company that services the pension. I received a 1099-R for the first part of the year, but not from the new company. I can compute most of the information I need from the monthly annuity payment statements. How do I create a second 1099-R for the new company?

Yes, you can create a substitute 1099-R in the Retirement Section. 

 

To use Form 4852 to prepare a substitute Form 1099-R, you go through the Form 1099-R section itself.  Choose to type in the information for the Form 1099-R instead of trying to import it.  Then, check the box showing you need to prepare a substitute Form 1099-R and follow the instructions on the screen.
