Can I add a 1099-R company that I pay taxes to onto the list that turbotax has?

How do I add John Hancock Multimanager LS Conservative A to the list of 1099-R recipients?

To enter, edit or delete a form 1099-R -

Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
Click on Wages and Income (Personal Income using Home and Business)
Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
Scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security
On IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R), click the start or update button

Or enter 1099-r in the Search box located in the upper right of the program screen. Click on Jump to 1099-R

What do you mean by "1099-R recipients"? You cannot issue a 1099-R. If you receive income from a retirement account, you are the recipient of the income and the recipient of the 1099-R. The company that pays the income to you is the payer, and the issuer of the 1099-R.

Do you mean that you received a 1099-R from John Hancock Multimanager LS Conservative A and you want to import it into TurboTax? It's up to the paying company to decide whether to partner with TurboTax for importing 1099-R forms. If the company that you received a 1099-R from is not a TurboTax import partner, you have to enter the 1099-R manually, following the instructions that DoninGA gave you. You could ask the company that issued the 1099-R to partner with TurboTax for future years, but you cannot add them to the partner list yourself.
