After I entered our W-2's & IRA income, our refund in progress jumped from 876.00 or 62,305.00. How did this happen?

Sounds like some kind of decimal mess-up or you added some extra zeros.  Have you checked all of the amounts you entered?  The decimal and comma are next to each other on the keyboard so it is easy to hit the wrong key.
