I downloaded my info from Fidelity which included a 1099R for IRA and a 1099R for 403b. On line D of the RMD Excess Accumulation Worksheet it lists both for an IRA. I tried to change the 2nd to a 403b with no sucess and being able to make a change. Double clicking on the box does not take me to a source. The 1099R I get from Fidelity does not show it as a IRA or 403b that I can see. It does not make any difference in the taxes, but I would think the info from the 403b would be on line 5 a and b of the 1040 rather than all on the line 4 as IRA in order to be correct.
I did not notice at the time, but 2023 had same issue.
How can I correct to reflect as 403b?
What is the code in box 7? Please verify that you did not check the IRA/SEP/SIMPLE box for the 403(b) distribution. In the follow-up questions you should be able to indicate that this was a Qualified Plan and then confirm that this is a 403(b) plan. TurboTax correctly reports the 403(b) on line 5 of 1040.

Thank you. You are correct. Removing the check regarding IRA/SIMPLE allowed me to enter it as 403b on D. However, the checked box is a result of the import from Fidelity, not an entry that I made. Additionally, the copy I just downloaded from Fidelity does not have the check in the box.
I am thinking I will just leave it alone for 2023 instead of filing an amendment since there is not change in dollars, or should I file an amended return to have the records correct with IRS?
