1099 S from the sale of the an inherited house in MA. I live in MD. When I entered the 1099 S the MA state download popped up. Will I have to submit a tax form to MA?

Massachusetts will tax you on any capital gains you may have realized on the sale, so it depends on whether you sold it immediately after inheriting it, or held it before selling.

If you have capital gains from the sale, yes.

If there is no gain, no.
