1099-R - when to select "None of the above (select for deferred compensation 457 plans)"

I am over 59 1/2. In response to "Where is the distribution from?", how do i decide between the following choices?

  • None of the above (select for deferred compensation 457 plans)
  • Not eligible for exclusion for those over age 59 1/2

You would be eligible for the exclusion, so None of the above (select for deferred compensation 457 plans) is the better choice.
