Returning the distribution to the same account works the same way as a rolling it over to another account of the same type. After you enter your 1099-R information, one of the questions TurboTax asks is What did you do with the money? If you checked moved the money to another retirement account (or returned it to the same account) and then checked rolled over all of this money, you are good to go.
