If you get a monthly check for a retirement plan your answer is that it was all an RMD.

Yes, the distribution from the  Office of Personnel Management is your RMD.

Here's how to enter it in TurboTax Online:

  1. Open your return.
  2. Select Wages & Income.
  3. Scroll down to IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R), select Revisit to the right.
  4. Fill in the next screen with the figures from your 1099-R. If any of your boxes say "Unknown" leave the box blank in TurboTax.
  5. When you get to How much of the $XXX was a RMD? answer The entire distribution was a RMD.
