1095A

My brother lives with me and I want to claim him as a dependent. He has a 1095A and has no income. He is disable and waiting a decision from SSA. He cannot file a separate return becaue he has no income,,,we provide everything for him. If I claim him as a dependent I will have to assume some of the health insurance marketplace cost of (3000).

Yes.  If you claim him as a dependent, you will need to enter his 1095-A on your return.  When you do this, it is possible that you will need to repay some or all of the premium tax credit he received depending on your income.

If he has no income, he does not qualify for the premium tax credit as he is under 100% of the poverty level.
