How do I track my Maine tax refund?
Statement from Revenue Services Department: Want to check the status of your Maine state tax refund? With the Maine Tax Portal, checking your refund status is easy, convenient, and accessible 24/7. To check on the status of your refund, go to revenue.maine.gov, and under Individuals, select Where’s My Refund? and follow the prompts. You don't need to sign in to check for your Maine State tax refund through the Maine Tax Portal.
Go to Maine's Refund Status Information site and select Where is my Refund? to obtain refund status info.
The state will ask you to enter the exact amount of your expected refund in whole dollars. You can find this by signing in to TurboTax. If you're using the mobile app, you may need to scroll down to find your refund amount.
The refund date you'll see doesn't include the days your financial institution may take to process a direct deposit or the time a paper check may take to arrive in the mail. If you still have questions about your state tax refund, contact the Maine Revenue Services Department.
