Why was my Stimulus Payment Rejected from being put on my card?

This is a $#!+ show. You had multiple employees tell us we would get our payment on our cards. I re-entered my Routing and Accounting numbers on the IRS portal and was told that it was rejected on your side. This is not what we were told by YOUR employees. Now I'm getting my money 2 weeks after the fact, and it's all due to us being given the wrong info. I would not have input that information had I know I wasn't going to receive it as I was told by your organization. I'm now in a position where I lost my job last month. Am completely broke, and have to wait until the 24th for a check to be mailed. 

 

I need answers, not assumptions, but cold hard facts. WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED?
