Stimulus Payment

I filed with Turbo Tax and did direct deposit on the state for my refund but owed the federal. Will they use the information from the state to complete the federal or so I need to go in and give the bank information to the federal end of it ?

If you haven't completed the federal for 2019 taxes, then I would assume they don't have your bank information. So if they don't have your bank information, they're not going to be able to send you a direct deposit for your stimulus payment. Now if you did your 2018 taxes, whatever you used for your direct deposit for your refund, that's where they're going to send your money, for example, if you use direct deposit to a bank account like first national Bank of whatever, they would send it to your bank account there, but if used TurboTax then they would send it to your TurboTax card supposedly. At this point keep in mind, that there is a lot of issues going on with the payments. The portal that they created so we can check our statuses isn't even working properly for a lot of us. Your best bet is to enter banking information from a bank account at a bank. But this is only my opinion. I've had too many issues with the stimulus for this turbo card.
