SSI stimulus Deposits

My Bf get SSI and he went through IRS to receive his stimulus check faster but he put in a old bank account information so the bank rejected. But after they rejected it he was able to go on to the get my payment portal and provide his current bank information So I called the IRS trying to talk to representative and she told me the check is still at the IRS because they thought it was fraud due to the bank rejecting to many times the first time. But after they rejected it he was able to go on to the get my payment portal and provide his current bank information now it states he is eligible once they have a date they will update the page it’s been saying that for 3 weeks now. My question is will he still receive his stimulus check?
