Did you change the order of the names on a joint return? It sounds like the software is asking questions about you that are really about your spouse? Or.....are you confused about who it is asking about? Remember that the software does not know which one of you is sitting at the keyboard. The software will use the word "you" to mean the person whose name is listed first on the tax return.
As for the military question----it asks in My Info if you -- or your spouse -- were active duty military. Go back through those screens after clicking edit by your name (or his name).
