If I am in the military and my W2 does not have an "employer's state ID number", what should I put in box 15?

Is there anything in box 16 and 17? If not, then please delete any entry at all in box 15.

If you have state withholding, is this W-2 from DFAS? Try putting the Employer's EIN from box b in box 15.
