I'm in the army national guard and do considerably more than drills and annual training. Do I enter the W2 from DFAS as Active Duty Pay?

All pay regardless of annual training, weekend drill, active duty for training is on the single W2.

You can, if you want to - it won't make any difference on your tax return.

Technically, you are still in the National Guard, even if if on active duty orders and pay.

You can still select "Active Duty" instead of "National Guard", since the program will ask all the same military-related questions, just in a slightly different order.
