I am military and a texas resident. I have never changed residency. I keep getting notices and emails to finish my california state return but as a texas resident/mil I am exempt. What should I do?

If you are active military, in the My Info section of the program for your personal information, you should have selected Texas as your resident state.  When asked if you lived in another state you should have answered NO.  When asked if you made money in another state you should have answered NO (assuming your military pay is your only income).

Go back to My Info and make the necessary changes and you will not get any more emails about California.
