I am in the military. Added my W-2 from DFAS and it still says I did not and is making me pay $60

Hope you figured it out...

1) On the My Info page, make sure you indicated you were active duty in 2022 and entered your enlisted rank.

then

2) EDIT that W-2.  On a page after the main form, there is one page with a whole list of checkboxes. In the middle of that page is one that you need to check...indicating that it was a military Active duty W-2.  THEN the fee should go away.

(civilians get DFAS W-2 forms too...they don't get to check that box).
