I am a reservist who was deployed to a combat zone. My civilian employer gave me differential pay. Do I get back the fica medicare and fica soc sec taxes they took out?

Unfortunately, there isn't any tax break for civilian differential pay received while you were deployed to a combat zone - income, medicare or social security tax. As a benefit from your civilian employer, it is treated just like any other wage income for tax purposes.
