HI im a veteran and i bought a house in 2016 with a no a money down VA home loan. i then didnt start paying on the loan until 1/1/17 how do i do my taxes? #adultinsucks

You won't claim any interest expense for your home mortgage until next year's 2017 return. If you paid real estate taxes in 2016, you can claim them, and any other itemized deductions, but you may not have enough expenses to itemize this year.
