Hey guys, My mother-in-law (MIL) who is not a citizen provided care for our daughter.. MIL does not have SSN, and we paid her for services.. Can I take a deduction?

In order to use the childcare credit you need a Tax ID or SSN for your childcare provider.

paying someone for work who does not have a work permit is not legal.
