Do i file state tax in Texas as military member? I'm stationed in Texas but my home of record is Georgia. How do I go about getting back all the ga state taxes I paid in

I have been in Texas all year but never changed my state of residence from georgia to Texas. How do I go about getting all that money back?

Your Home of Record is GA, and that is where the State return would be filed.  GA does exempt combat pay for military members.

You would have to get your HOR changed with the military to TX to have no state return required.

Texas has no state income tax.
