Will someone tell me how do i figure out when a stock was sold

From your brokerage statement or sales receipt.

Ask the broker or company.   You should have a transaction confirmation for the sale or a quarterly statement.   Maybe you can log into your investment account and look it up. Isn't it on the 1099B?
