Why is Turbo showing rent received on a 1099-Misc separate from the rest of the rental income?

The 1099-Misc payment was received for tenant rent; Tax Act allows me to put it there and I get a refund; Turbo doesn't allow it to be there and I have to pay; why?

You would need to enter the Box 1 (Rent) amount of the 1099-Misc under income in the rental section. If you do, the income shows on Line 3  Schedule E as rents received.
