Why is my standard deduction, for married filing jointly, showing up as $26,600? I did not check the legally blind boxes.

If you and your spouse are 65 or older, then your standard deduction for a joint return is $24,000 + $1300 for each spouse who is 65 or older--so $24,000 + $2600 = $26,600.

65+       And that apparently was good enough to add another $1,300 deduction for each of us!!  Yeah!
