When I try to enter expenses for rental property, TurboTax prompts for 2017 information, and shows 2016 as the prior year. I can’t seem to enter 2018 data. Anyone else?

Youre using the 2018 Desktop version, or logged in Online using TurboTax?

I am using MAC laptop with similar problem.  When I enter 2018 investment info on partnership form K-1 it shows prior year as 2016 but has prior year data from 2017. So it does appear to be cosmetic

That is a known cosmetic error in changing the year heading on the display screen the calculations are correct.  2016 is actuality 2017 and 2017 is 2018.

It will probably be fixed sometime in February.

Yes, I had this same problem when entering the rental income expenses.  It shows my 2017 expenses as 2016 and seems to be asking for 2017 to be entered.    It is helpful to know that the calculations are correct.  I hope they send out a fix to this bug soon.

Have the same issue.  Why doesn't TurboTax just fix the error.  Cosmetic error on a software program??? Hmmm.
