What to do if I didn't receive a Certificate of Rent Paid or a Rent Paid Affidavit?

I moved earlier this year and only received a CRP from my current residence and not my previous as they said they had switched management. MN Dept. of Revenue has not sent me a RPA. How can I enter in the information to receive credit?

Minnesota requires a CRP or an RPA in order to claim the credit.  You can go here to request an RPA - they won't send it to you unless you request it.

Until you have the form you can't get the renter's credit.  So you may want to file without the rent for the first apartment and then come back and amend the return to get the rest of the credit later.
