Wells Fargo Bank Import Causes Turbo Tax Desktop on Mac to Crash

When I go through the process of importing details from my bank, it works for others like Schwab and Robinhood, but for Wells, it opens the browser, you can complete the process in the browser, but when it redirects you back to the TurboTax app, it attempts the import and then crashes/closes with the "report to apple" crash message appearing. I have tried updating my Mac, restarting, trying both Chrome and Safari as the default browser, and ensuring all other apps are closed.

If you are using TurboTax Online, try importing using a different browser.

See the following TurboTax Help articles for potential fixes:

It is the Mac desktop version and I have tried creating the connection with different browsers. It seems to be specific to the Wells Fargo Bank import.

I would recommend calling Wells Fargo to see if they have had any other reports of issues or possible suggestions.  Sometimes two programs don't play well.

This is a TurboTax issue as from the desktop app, you follow the steps to connect Wells to TurboTax and do the import. Once the import starts, TurboTx crashes. Even if the Wells import is corrupt, TurboTax should have a better way of handling the error (vs. just crashing/closing).
