Unable to import from JPMorgan Securities

I am using TT Deluxe to import my 1099b from JPMorgan Securities. The instructions are to obtain an Identity Code by clicking ‘Get Your Identity Code’ at the end of the instructions. There is no clickable area.  Anyone else have this breakdown?

GOOD NEWS!! After asking my Chase/JPMorgan banker for assistance, they contacted the right people and gave me these instructions which worked flawlessly.  I am surprised that Intuit has not already published this valuable information:

Here are the instructions I show for TurboTax. The number to call for support is: (800)392-5749. Please let me know if they are not helpful.

For Brokerage and Managed Accounts

  1.     Within the TurboTax software, use “Chase Investments” to search for the financial institution
  2.     Enter your chase.com username, password, and identification code
  3.     Request the identification code by clicking the ‘Get Your Identification Code’ link within TurboTax
  4.     You'll be presented with a chase.com sign in page for multifactor authentication purposes (similar to the one that appears when you sign in to chase.com from an unrecognized computer)
  5.     Choose to receive the identification code by phone, text, or email
  6.     Upon receipt, type the identification code into TurboTax to proceed with the download process; the identification code expires after 30 minutes.

NOTE:  All available tax forms for all Brokerage and Managed accounts accessible by chase.com username can be imported.

You can enter the 1099B manually if the import feature is not working. Please see the steps below on how to manually enter the information.

  1. Click on Tax Home from the Left Side Menu.
  2. Click on Income & Expenses from the main screen.
  3. Scroll down to the section titled "Investments and Savings".
  4. Within this section, click on the start button next to 1099-B.
  5. Answer the relevant questions and you should see a page with the title "Let's import your tax info". On this page, scroll down and you should see an option for "Enter a different way". Click on that.
  6. Next Click on Stocks, Bonds, Mutual Funds and answer the questions accordingly.

AamalD, thank you for that option. I am aware of it. However, manually entering some 50 pages of 1099 info is what I hoped to avoid, hence my reason for buying TurboTax Deluxe. I urge you to elevate this software glitch to management and get it fixed.  A workaround solution for this is unacceptable. Thanks for your response; please forward my concerns to your writers.
