The program is showing a capital loss carryover from last year, but I did not have that. I have worked through the section and said I don't have any. What do I do now?

In TurboTax (TT), enter at:
- Federal Taxes tab (Personal in  Home & Business)

 - Wages & Income

Scroll down to:

-Investment Income

   -Capital Loss carryover

Answer yes when asked if you have a carry over.  That should give you the chance to change it to 0.
