Section 1256 Options Contracts

Why does Turbo Tax NOT download Section 1256 Options data? And for some reason it cannot or will not , then at least let the users know about it. It is a shame!!!

Regulated Futures Contracts” (e.g., Section 1256 contracts) from Form 1099-B are not supported by the Turbo Tax® import

 

Please follow steps below to enter commodity futures contracts:

Federal
Income & Expenses
Scroll down to Investment Income & Click on "Show More"
Click Start next to "Contracts and Straddles" & Answer Yes
Continue and enter your Section 1256 contracts
