The IRS is late finalizing regulations pertaining to rental and business income, especially with regards to qualified business income (QBI) deductions, so TurboTax has not been able to update the program to account for this. The necessary updates should be available by the first week in February, however.

You will have to wait until the updates are available to complete your return. Once they are available, your calculations will process properly without any additional action on your part if you use the online version of TurboTax. If you use the desktop version, you will have to perform the updates in your program first.

Have there been anymore updates for the schedule E from the IRS? Are the fixing/updates been put in place for the online version? still having an issue with not having 1099 needed section.

Complete For All Properties:
Did you make any payments that would require you to file Form(s) 1099?
No
If yes, did you or will you file all required Form(s) 1099?
*needs to be left blank*

@ck23 I don't get this error when re-creating in TurboTax Online Federal Review.

Try going into the Property Info section and Edit (screenshot).

In the Owner Info section, see if it says NO to 'Required to Send 1099'.  If not, try Edit here (screenshot).
