TurboTax does not change which forms or schedules are included in the desktop editions based on Operating System.  Schedule D is included in Deluxe desktop edition.  Go to this website - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/cd-download/deluxe.jsp#tax-forms

Can't I upgrade from my current CD?  Do I have to spend $80 just to access Schedule D?

You can upgrade from your current CD, but you have to contact TurboTax to do it.

Be sure to have identifying numbers for each of your CD purchases to verify.

Then go here: Contact us to schedule a call back.

All the CDs and All the Desktop programs have the same forms. You just get more help and guidance in the higher versions.

What version do you have?  Did you install it yet?  After you install it you have to update it frequently.  Go up to Online-Check for Updates or for Mac reboot your computer.

Then if you want to upgrade to a higher version you can upgrade right inside the program.  How to upgrade the Windows Desktop program

What do you need schedule D for?  Go to

Federal Taxes Tab or Personal (Home & Business)

Wages & Income

Then scroll down to Investment Income,

Then Stocks, Mutual Funds, Bonds, Other - click Start or Update
