Same issue as others with 1099 royalties issue.

I don't have any royalties, and turbotax won't accept 0.0. They must have updated the format because I don't see the screens that people posted from 2022. This is ridiculous. I don't see anything for royalties that I can delete.

Royalties are associated with a schedule E and/or form 1099-Misc. You can try deleting the form 1099-MISC if you have one that you don't need in your program. The same applies to a schedule E. Here is how to delete a form in TurboTax:

 

  1. Click on Tax Tools in the left menu bar
  2. Click on Tools
  3. Look under Other Helpful Links and choose Delete a form

 

Find the form or schedule you want to remove in the list and click on the delete icon to remove it.
